A Georgian Mansion about 200 years old is of historic and architectural interest. Designed by Francis Johnston, it was the home of the Dease Family until 1926. Edmund Fitzlaurance Dease, 1856-1934, author of "History of the Westmeath Hunt", and father of Maurice James Dease, C.C. - the first V.C. of World War 1 - was of this house.
