Looking for a fun holiday destination that has it all? Look no further than Dingle!

Dingle is world famous as not only been located on the most westerly tip of Europe, but for also been one of the prettiest towns in Ireland. Surrounding by sheer beauty this town is also a centre of arts, culture and heritage. Many visitors come just to visit its Gaeltacht area (Irish-speaking area) and observe the locals converse in their native tongue.

Sitting by the sea, this harbour town can boast the best seafood restaurants in Kerry! Walk along the pier to watch the fishermen at work or view the trawlers that are coming towards the town. Hop on board one of the many boats that bring the towns visitors out to see the Dingle Dolphin, Fungie which has made this harbour his home!

This picturesque and colourful town has lots to offer its visitors with beautiful craft and souvenir shops, quaint little cafes, award winning restaurants and lively pubs where you can hear the best of traditional Irish music.

Attractions to visit while staying in Dingle include Dingle Oceanworld or you could take a short drive to see Gallarus Oratory (one of the best preserved early Christian churches in Ireland) or why not visit the spectacular Blasket Islands. The Dingle Peninsula is scattered with many historical attractions like beehive huts, celtic crosses and churches.

If you’re looking for a holiday with a little bit more activity, Dingle has many interesting walks. It is also popular for cycling, birdwatching, swimming, golfing, fishing, angling and horse riding.

The Dingle Peninsula has been the setting for famous films such as 'Ryan's Daughter' and 'Far and Away', so do take the time to venture beyond this pretty fishing town. Take a scenic drive west of Dingle town through Ventry, Dunquin and Ballyferriter and back over the stunning Conor Pass, where you can admire breathtaking views of the bays on both sides of the peninsula.
