Accommodation valentia island

Welcome to Valentia Island
 Picture of Valentia island
Valentia Island, a resort particularly popular with deep sea anglers. The island, about 7 miles (11km) long by 2 miles (3 km) wide, is one of the most westerly points of Europe. The surface is bold and rocky, two prominent features being Geokaun Mountain (880 feet) on the north and Bray Head (792 feet) on the south; both are splendid vantage points for the sightseer. About 9 miles (14km) off Valentia Island are the Skelligs Rocks.

The Great Skellig, largest of the three, is an enormous mass of rock rising sharply out of the sea to more than 700 feet, On it are the ruins of a settlement built by early Christian monks: a small ancient church, a larger church of later date, two oratories, six beehive cells, several burial enclosures, crude crosses, and two wells.
